I, personally, thought it was pretty good. It was the first RTS in which different races/sides had a material difference in how they were played. Even Command & Conquer had pretty subtle differences. But StarCraft has each race *play* differently. My other favorite, WarCraft (also made by Blizzard) had no difference between Orcs and Humans that affected gameplay until you got down to Dark Knight and Mage Spells.
Anything else on this super game?
